I have been wanting a dedicated smoking area since the house was built an never really decided on a good place. after many a moon thinking about it the answer was right under my nose....I insisted on having a home office/trophy room to waste my life sniffing cigars and playing online etc. So why not put the "area" right outside my favorite room????.....hummm good Idea!
I will have to have a French door made as I cannot get a commercially made 48" exterior one to replace the window thats currently where my porch access will be. alright already here are some pics!

I miss that about the PNW, I had no idea how bad bugs were down in Ga. I don't think I saw a single screened in porch back home.

That has been a requirement for my wife and I when we begin looking into buying a house for a while.
It has to have a covered porch so you can be outdoors and enjoy a smoke and an adult beverage regardless of what's falling out of the sky =P
Very, very nice.
