How many have aged the 8-5-8? Is it worth it to put 6 - 12 months or more on them?

6-12 months isn't age. 4-5 years, now you're getting some age, 6-10 years, now you're aging your cigars. Hell, cigars can sit on the shelves of a shop for longer than 6-12 months.

So does that mean that the general concensus is that 6-12 months won't change the profile of a cigar?

Minimally

Thats good, because I generally smoke what I buy with in about a week or two... :)

And if you enjoy them that's all that matters.

My Dad hit me with these when I went home to Ky. He pulled them from way back in his cabinet humi. Needless to say I can't wait to compare them to some fresh 8-5-8's:tu

I find that aging 858's 3-5 years makes for a great cigar.

I usually keep a couple of boxes of the 8-5-8 Maduro on hand. They are very good fresh but with 1 year or more I find that they balance out very well.
