View Full Version : Cigar sales are absolutely useless

Ok ok so maybe I have other issues.

When cigars go on sale this in no way helps me save money. All I end up doing is spending the same amount of money and getting more cigars than originally intended. Which of course then leads to a shortage of storage space which then leads to the purchase of Vinos which then leads to more sales which then leads to shortage of space which then leads to purchase of backup coolerdor which then leads to more sales.

So for I think that Cigar sales have cost me a small car. Some sale.

I hear ya SilverFox. When my wife would get home after a day of shopping and brag about how much money she saved, I used to always tell her, "We're gonna go broke saving money!!" Now I'm sad to report, I can't even open my mouth. :c
CIGAR SALES!!:bh

I for one love the cigar sales, because I never plan to spend less money. I am going to spend the money either way, at least I am able to get more cigars for the same money.

Sales are great when you're looking to pick up some boxes at solid prices, but if it's not in the budget to buy more cigars and/or storage then you have to exercise some self control and pass. It's not always easy to do, but it's a lot better than looking at a huge credit card statement at the end of the month, especially during the holiday season.

:tpd: Im pretty much agreeing with everybody here.

I just got in on a split for cigars that I would normally never buy cause they are bigger than I normally like.

But it was such a good buy, I couldnt pass it up:bh:bh:bh:bh

It's tough to balance cigars and wine. What are your wine buying habits? Do you buy bottles or cases?

When my Mom told my Dad she was "window shopping" he'd say "Good- we don't need windows, so you won't spend any money!"

Sounds to me to be a good problem to have. If you've got the cash then there is really no problem at all.

Cheers. :D
