Oliva Master Blends 3 ? Anybody smoke these? [Archive]

Yes! The MB3's are one of my favorite sticks:tu Great dark and sweet flavors with a balanced spice in the beginning. They also have great construction as well. I bought a box of the robustos about a year ago and consider them some of my prized sticks up there with my Pork Tenderloins, Opus, and Padron Annies.

One of my faves, a full-bodied smoke with some complexity. Some earthy notes share the stage with other notes. C-bid usually has some at decent prices and they seem to be discounted on daily deals at Holts if I'm not mistaken. I think robos can be had for $7/per if you're patient and wait for deals.

The MB3's are absolutely fantastic. For an everyday smoke, IMO, you probably can't do better. Absolutely jump on the Holt's deal, you can't even get a better price than that on CBid!

The Oliva MB3s taste very similar to a PAM to me.
Thanks for spotting the deal on Holts! Had to pick
up 20 for $82 delivered.

About 15 months ago Holts had the MB3 robos
for about the same price. They're still resting
in my humi. Had to get 20 of those, also.

Xlnt smoke for an outstanding price.

I really enjoyed the one I have tried. Has anyone ever noticed drastic differences in wrapper colors of these that they received in a sampler or fiver? I have two from a variety pack that are night and day in comparison. I'm sure it won't matter it just seemed odd. I should sacrifice one so it won't bother me anymore.:ss

I have to echo the sentiments of many others in here. These are a great smoke, and being able to get them at less then four bucks is flat out criminal. On a rare occasion I've seen them around eight bucks a stick, but they usually hover in the neighborhood of ten, which I still gladly pay. One of the best smokes Oliva puts out IMO.

Glad to see the MB3 is getting some love. This is the most slept on cigar that we make. The robusto is honestly my go to cigar. I usually smoke through about a box a month of these between events, long car rides, and just hanging out. I find myself grabbing this cigar more than any other one in our arsenal.

They're still selling these, albeit a bit higher than the original 10-pack price.
You can get a 6 pack for $27.95. About a buck a stick higher than the 10 pack price was, but still well below MSRP.

Bought five. They're some of my favorite smokes, and for the price, couldn't be beat. I'll be able to stow some away and put some serious age on them.

I believe that is the date from the tobacco. I think these were made in 2008.

Cause that's about what they normally sell for. I've never seen a box (which has 20 cigar in it I believe) for less than $190, and they're normally North of $200.

Agreed. This is one of the best deals I've seen on a cigar (that I like) in quite awhile. This would've been a good price for five cigars.
