Ginger Beer from M&S

Yesterday, I bought a bottle of Ginger Beer from M&S. I haven't it yet. Has anyone tried it? Is it any good?

I love ginger brew, but have trouble finding any that are crisp and spicy. I hate paying $1.50 per bottle, only to taste it, and be overwhelmed by the sugar content! That's my number one complaint on most I've discarded, just way too sweet! I'm not saying they don't need some sweet, but not the level that I find 90% of them to be!

I'm definitely open for suggestions also about ginger brew that is crisp, spicy, and not overblown with sugar.

Reed's Extra Ginger Beer is the best of the ones that are easy to find - as of last time I attempted to find a good one years ago.
Seems like 20 years ago they were all spicier than they are recently... :td

I was debating making a keg of Ginger beer for this coming spring. I enjoy Sprechers Ginger ale, which is fairly spicy, with a cigar.

Maine Root makes a ginger beer that I'll drink now and again. Love it with spicy food, or mixed with a bunch of rum.

I love some Dark & Stormy's = Ginger beer & Goslings Dark Rum

I normally keep a six pack or two of Goslings Ginger Beer here to make Dark and Stormy's with.

Never actually tasted it by itself.
