This just might be one nasty Halloween coming up here in New Jersey. The leaves have not quite reached peak colors, so the trees are still fully in leaf. We've been having heavy wet snow for hours, which is weighing down the limbs. I was outside briefly for a quick smoke, and could hear them cracking and breaking all over town, like pistol-shots echoing from everywhere. I've heard reports of whole trees down already, and I'd expect massive power outages throughout the state before too long.

I am in eastern PA, power is still on but if it goes out I might just sit outside and enjoy smokes by the fire all night long!!! :D Just tryin to make the best of a crazy snowstorm!!!

The storm has cleared out of eastern Mass. I live right on the coast and got about an inch of slush and kept power so far.

Well, my power went out about 4:30 PM Saturday, and stayed off for nearly two days. We just got it back about a half-hour ago.

Damn, it's hard to watch TV in the dark! :D
