More often than not will grab 3 things from the dollar menu vs one of the $ 4.95-6.49 numbered specials. It just feels right. Bringing your own can of soda makes it a pretty full meal.
Arbys is an issue. 5 for $ 6.95 means you get too much to eat. I get 3 Jr's, potato cakes and a soda if I forget to bring one. If not extra order of cakes. Bring 1 or 2 of the Jr's home. Lil sweetie loves her the Arbys.
Lately Mickie D's has had 2 Egg Mcmuffins for $ 2. MMMM.

It's 2 double cheese burgers for me, helps out the cigar budget and fills the tummy for 2 bucks, and the soda take along is the best cause I think all Mickie D's soda(pop) taste the same

Fan of Wendy's dollar menu. I don't do fast food a lot, but I keep forgetting that a medium drink there is HUGE!
The cheesy double beef burrito at Taco Bell is good for .89 cents.

Have to try the Double Stacker. I like stopping once in a while on the way home from the grocery store and grabbing a few Double Cheeseburgers. They taste much better with a soda at home rather than the $2 paper cup. :tu

I heard recently on the news that McDonalds thinks it is going to have to raise prices on its dollar menu. I guess it won't be a dollar menu after that. Will it be a $1.50 menu?

:r I rarely eat fast food, but when I do it's either In-N-Out or Tace Bell. In-N-Out trumps TB any day even w/o a value menu.

I did hear that they are dropping the double cheese burger, now being offered for $1.19 and replacing it with a single slice of cheese version.

McDonalds double cheeseburger is solid for $1.00. Too bad it's no longer $1. Wendy's Jr. Bacon is solid with a 5 piece and small drink for $3, you can't go wrong.

If I go fast food its a Baconator from Wendy's a Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell or a Jalapeno Burger from Sonic. I've never been one for dollar menus, or fast food for that matter.

Yes but at least we get our food fried in real fat and not veggie oil. Hot Apple pies that remind me of what they were like as a kid. Plus many overseas locations serve Beer. When I first moved to Bitburg and went into the Mcd's there and saw they had Bitburger Pils on the menu I knew I was gonna love Europe. B

Yeah, I'll admit, continental Europe has it god with the beer thing going on, but to be honest, I don't know where the UK stands on veggie oil for frying - but I'm pretty sure it's the good stuff ;)

They still call it a "Big" Mac so maybe they won't call it a different menu...after all it is still in the dollar range:dance:

ok first of all, wendys is the place to go
mc'd goes to a reduced menu after like 12 or 1am no dollar menu. all you can buy is like 6 of the crappiest value meals they sell. who wants a big and tasty meal for 8 bucks? no one
wendy's on the other hand is open 24 hours and all ways has the full menu. the jr bacon, and double stack are both sweet for only a $1 you can also get small frostie for $1.19.
definitly not on the dollar menu but still amazing is the baconator its like $4-5 bucks but you will be full for like a day from this thing

If I lived in a desert between an Arby's and McDonald's, I'd starve to death, and I love to eat stuff that's gonna make me die early. :)
I could eat Whoppers every day, but I usually eat at Sheetz (it's our convenience store chain) if I'm getting something quick. They really have good food, believe it or not.

I can't do Wendy's. The last two times I hit the local Wendy's I spent the next couple of days doing the Hershey dash. Arby's rocks, though, especially with that Horsey sauce! :r

Enjoy the fast food, insane posse...I'm in a place with some really oddball food choices.
Yeah, we got Mickey D's, BK, and KFC here. Every fast food place in Korea has a "Bulgogi Burger" on the menu. It's like a hamburger with teriyaki sauce. They also have shrimp burger--think filet-o-fish but made from shrimp. And also here (don't know if they have this in the states) they have the Mega-Mac. It's a Big Mac with double meat and double cheese.
Korean fast food is Kim Bap (rice, meat and veggies rolled in seaweed and then sliced into rounds), Duk Boki (rice cakes in spicy sauce) and several funky variations on the corn dog, such as the corndog-like dog on a stick surrounded by french fries and then deep fried. Or the dog on a stick dipped in doughnut batter and fried, then sprinkled with sugar and served with ketchup on it. it's better than it sounds!!!
