I have never seen this prepared outside of the little town I grew up in, so I thought I would share with yall....

Start with a mixture of 65% Kingsford, 35% American Royal Oak on the weber,

Then add one large chicken, quartered and wings folded back. Salt and pepper sprinkled on the skin for seasoning...

Simmer in a pot with 1/2 to 3/4 stick of butter, 1 cup or so of my homemade vinegar based BBQ sauce,

continue to tear up with tongs while simmering and here you have it. Sprinkle in a little red pepper flakes to taste if you like...
