About two weeks ago I bought a 6'er of Maximus. Two bottles were bad. The entire head popped off when I tried to open them. I emailed Lagunitas to let them know. I realize it could be a shipping problem, but if they were having an issue with bottles I wanted them to know. I received an email from Ron Lindenbusch and provided any info I could. He offered to replace the $$ lost or provide swag. I told him I'm relocating to Washington State next week and there was no need. Ron asked for my new addy. Today I got an email there will be a "care package" arriving shortly after I get to my new place.:noon

Early welcome to Washington, now you won't have to drink any beer that did not come out of a keg. Or had to travel over 100 miles.

This is great that he did this for his customer. I sent an email to Green Flash a year ago about a sixer that was just bad to see if they had a problem batch or if there was a way I could tell how old it was. No response what-so-ever.

Even though it used to be one of my favorite beers, I have chosen to spend my $$$ on their competition ever sense.

I like alot of Lagunitas beer so im glad to hear they are making everything right. Not everyday that a company is willing to do that.

Local store just started carrying Lagunitas. Good stuff from what I've had so far. Nice to see solid customer service as well!

I was not expecting anything. I just wanted them to know about a possible problem. It was refreshing to see a company dedicated to customer service. So as long as Lagunitas brews I will be a customer!

I love smaller, more customer oriented companies.

Good folks there. As I have said before. I firmly believe that Maximus IPA to be one of, if not the most, underrated IPAs on the market. It is a top 3 for me.

Have you had their Brown Shugga? That comes out soon. Probably my favorite Lagunitas.
