Wow I just got this in an email from Breville. Looks like a nice machine.
I don't know what they are charging for it. It has a double boiler system to serve the porta filter, and the milk steamer.
Anyone have one of these beauty's?

Looks very nice saw a review/video of it on seattlecoffeegear. http://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/Breville-Double-Boiler-Espresso-Machine-p/scg10301-67.htm It's listed on Amazon for 1199.00 If BBB carries it with the 20% off it would be a much better deal.

Also other than Brevilles sketch durability, I personally own a few of their products and never had an issue. The other main concern looks to be and this is quoated from Seattle Coffee Gears page "Take It To The Pros - Unfortunately you won't be descaling this machine yourself. The closest you'll get to decalcifying from the comfort of your home is using filters. But if it's a real flush out that you want, you'll have to have it professionally descaled at a service center every few years"

Hey Scott,
Yeah well I didn't know the price of this thing. I'm not interested in espresso...my moka pot gets close enough for me. :)

I just like Breville stuff, I have one of their juicers and it is built like a tank.

I just received a new coffee roaster today...the Fresh Roast SR-500 (got it at The Coffee Project ) and been fooling around making some different single origin roasts....:D I might delve into working up some blends.

Scott how is your coffee odyssey going?

Looks like a very nice machine, as it should be for the price.

Once you get into that price range, the quality is great and I believe a lot comes down to personal preference and things like cosmetics come into play.

i found a 3 cup moka pot at Ross dept store for 6 bucks!
It's not the famour brand that everyone uses here, but I
hope it will make a nice cup of espresso for me!
