Big interview coming up

I've been with the same company for the past 10 years, telecom industry. I've had several interviews over the years, and managed to land the jobs I was applying for except for one.
This morning I have another interview. Same job function pretty much just a promotion to the next level. I usually don't get too nervous about these interviews, I've known the people conducting them for most of my time with the company. But this time around the difference will be a much higher salary (more stick money right?!) and that aspect of it has me a little nervous.

Thanks for listening, this is just a way for me to cope with the nerves. /rant

They will give their feedback after the selection is made. It'll be a couple of weeks.........mid October they said.

:r I did ask them if it would have helped to bring a six pack with me....they said yes. I've known the 3 managers I interviewed with today for almost as long as I've been with the company.

I always think afterwards that I didn't do well. But I thought that when I got the position I'm currently in. What do they say? We're our own harshest critic. I'm going to enjoy a drink and a stick later and just forget about it until next week. It's my weekend!!

Good luck! :) These are people that you are reasonably familiar with, so it's hopefully going to be easier than if you were interviewing with a brand new company. God knows I've been through more interviews than I care to remember in the past decade, and some of them still give me nightmares. :r

It's a good day boys and girls!!
Boss called me this morning and made the offer. It took so long due to the usual corporate 'higher-up' BS. But I'm so happy that my 10 years of hard work is finally paying off. A 20% increase in pay almost makes up for no increases for past 4-5 years. This comes at a good time for our family and I'm very fortunate to have a job in this tough economy. Thanks for all the well wishes, they are truly appreciated!

I immediately grabbed the Opus X that Larry (Ogre) have me in my first NST trade and fired that bad boy up! It was an amazing stick, start to finish. Now maybe I can afford to buy one on occasion...lol.
