This is my baby. It's an 05 Envoy SLT. I love that truck. Lisa keeps pounding on me about getting a new car, but I think I'm gonna run this old girl till I have to start pushing her.

http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad96/scottshilala/37969800.jpg

This is Lisa's ricer. It's a Sonata Limited. She loves it almost as much as I love my Envoy. She got it back in February, I'm thinking. I've driven it about five times. I don't fit in it real well and the seats hurt my back, so I avoid it like the plague. It's absolutely beautiful inside and out, though.

We kinda do that. Lisa gets mileage from work, and we agreed to put all that in a new car fund. She drives so much that it'll take no time to replace the cars. (There's already enough to replace mine, that's why she's been after me about it.) My car has been paid off since '06 and hers is paid off except for a small amount we financed just to keep the credit monsters happy.

I was tossed between the Tundra and Tacoma. I would have loved the Tundra but couldn't justify it as I don't need a full size. Surprisingly the wife was even pushing me toward the Tundra but for once in my life I stuck to practical.:r

I hear ya! Got rid of the Tundra for practical reasons as well..I vowed to own another one in the near future though! I miss it! Great memories with that truck...sitting in the back while tailgating at a Brad Paisley concert...driving with my wife to Steelers games...even drove down to Kiawah Island, SC for family vacation before the 3rd kid arrived! But I'd much rather have my 3rd kid (my youngest son, Cooper) than any damn truck anyway!

Thanks! I really wanted white but the factory was shut down for the year when I was shopping so what was in inventory was all there would be until they started back up again. There was only 1 white short bed crew cab in the whole Southeast which it was in Georgia and the dealer was not making it easy to get a deal on a locate. Needless to say this one was on the lot and they were more than happy to give me the deal I wanted on that one so Silver it ended up being. Plus my wife has a white 4Runner and she was giving me grief about getting the white saying it will look stupid having two white trucks that look similar in the driveway. (Who thinks of these things?????:r) I told her, fine I will get the silver but don't get pissed when I am putting wheels/tires and a lift on it. I decided to not go with the the 3" lift and just leveled it out with Bilstein 5100s with the fronts set to 1.75 and than I had the dealer do the rear leaf spring TSB in the back which actually added an additional 1" in the back. The only issues I have had was having the squeeky fan motor replaced which is another TSB so as long as your still under warranty they will fix it for free.

Glad to see some Tundra brothers here. I bought a Black 2011 Tundra Crew Max in January and love it so far. Love the space that thing has, but haven't gotten into all the leveling or raising of the truck. Added a fiberglass bed cover from ARE and running boards, and it looks great. Lots of compliments. My 2009 Ranger XL. 5-speed, 2wd, gets near 30 mpg regularly (I drive mostly highway miles).

It's cramped, noisy, and the design is way past the sell-by date, and I love it. :tu

My car - 2004 VW TDI Jetta. Just took it in for it's 140K maintenance. Love the car; got the leather interior (black on black - really nice) and with my ~65 mile daily commute, the 40+ MPG of the little turbo diesel just rocks. It really excels on the highway with the huge low end torque the diesel has. AC on, cruse set @ 75...and I get 45+ on the freeway. For the win...:tu

Wife's rig - 2006 BMW X3 3.0L. Great car, fun to drive....she puts very few miles on it so it's petrol thirst isn't a big issue....;)

Then, a drunk hillbilly in a Chevy Silverado (piece of sh**) ran a redlight and nailed me on my front passenger side. My little car spun off the road and ended up in a ditch. I was alright, minus a huge gash in my chest. I sued him for a lot...I won. Now I drive a stupid Pontiac, because I have a fear of getting emotionally involved with another car :td

I got a chance to ride an SV, its a great, underrated bike.

Wouldnt quite call it underrated. It has a massive following, its just a shame they arent produced anymore. Great first bike. Next up will be the Triumph Street Triple though

I know what you are thinking. Yeah, it's an EX. Yeah, it's got the automatic seat belts. Yea, it's got cruise control. Yea, it's the the big motor - 1.6 liters of pure power. One hundred AND eight horses baby. Yea, I took off the wheel covers - cause they were slowing me down!

It's ok, you guys can be jealous, I'll still let you ride in it...

How nice a car do you want to drive in the city? It beats walking.

My ride before this was a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. I drove it for 14 years. When I finally traded it in, it had close to 175,000 miles on it.

My wife had no faith in it. The only thing wrong with it was the AC was shot. Guy said it would cost more to fix it than my truck was worth. So I had 2/70 air for about 3 years.

Don't get me wrong, I was just having some fun. I LOVE this car. It get's about 25 mpg in heavy city traffic. It's a perfect city car. And after not having my own car for 4 years it's like I'm 17 again. :)

I walk about 90% of the time. 5 days a week, to and from work rain or shine. I found myself renting a car once or twice a month or taking really expensive cab rides out to the suburbs so after buying it for a couple hundred bucks and paying $200 a year for insurance it's still less than I was spending monthly on cabs alone. And not having to inconvenience my wife by making her get a ride to work when I needed our "real" wheels is priceless.

Currently have a 03 Altima 3.5SE for my wife, 07 4Runner Sport, 1985 COrvette (looking to sell/trade btw), and a 1998 Dodge Dakota that I use for commuting 75mi a day, for me. I also have a 2003 VStar 1100 custom (actually customized, not just the model designation) and a 2008 Ninja 250 I use for racing and track days.

I love the 4Runner the most I think, but the bikes are a lot of fun too. :D

I prefer to drive this

http://oldchurchbbq.com/sharedpictures/Big%20Tess.jpg

Preferably in this configuration

http://oldchurchbbq.com/sharedpictures/2010-05-15_Proper%20Preperation/2010-05-15_Proper%20Preperation%20001.jpg

But driving 40 miles a day, I'll take this at 30 MPG over Big Tess's 10 MPG

http://oldchurchbbq.com/sharedpictures/Misc3/Havin'%20a%20Fit.jpg

We finally replaced my wife's POJ Passport with this little guy about a month ago. Once I got over the fact that I now look UNDER semi-trucks instead of being around eye level and that I can't see over most vehicles like I once did, it's really pretty fun. I still reach for Big Tess's keys when I'm not driving to work though (much to my wife's joy!)

A couple of changes to our cars. While driving my T&C van to Costco a few weeks ago, my lady asked why the brakes sounded the way they did. When I explained that it was going to need brakes soon and that I would probably need to put another $500 or so in it she said that I wouldn't. She had been planning to get a new CRV in January, she pushed it forward a few months. Now I get to drive the 04 Buick Park Avenue Ultra and she has her new CRV. Man is the Buick a nice car, 59k miles and every comfort I could ever want.

Z4 is a beautifully shaped car. The current Z4 is BMW's best looking car by far IMO. Why didn't you go for the M? There's a black one down the street from me. Do you like the Z4 coupe as well? Now that is a hard top, it's got to be one of the best looking cars in its segment.

Wife wanted an auto, so no M, which is the one to have imo. We both love the way the hardtop looks, but I had to have a convertible. I'm kinda mixed on the new Z4. Some days I look at it and I'm glad we got ours, and other days, I just :dr.

That's some stock photo I found on the web, but it's the same year and color. Nothing exciting, but it works (except for that dam* transmission rebuild at 100,000 miles)

Of course, some days, with the idiot drivers out there, I wish I was driving this:

It is a blast. However, gets you in trouble with the places you try to take it.

Traded my Ranger for something just a bit smaller. It's a 2012 Fiat 500 Sport. Fun little car, and a pretty decent step up in MPG. Probably not going to be smoking many cigars in it, though.

That's awesome. :banger

Is it a stick or auto? I use to rent those when I was working in OKC. They are a hoot to drive; full throttle all the time! Just like an Italian car is supposed to be driven. I wanted Elys to get one, but she wanted a Range Rover... The boss won.

Stick all the way. I can't wait to take it up a twisty mountain road.
