Fishing trip coming up here in a week. My dad is out of small smokes and looking to make a purchase at CI tonight to have them here in time for the trip. He really liked the CAO Gold Karats and Cohiba Pequenos we ordered last time, however he wants to try something new. Whats some idea's on a Mild to Medium cigar that can be ordered from CI?

I should have clarified, by small I meant Petite Corona size... and my dad is cheap.

when you say small, do you mean small in size or small as in a short smoke?

Depends on your tastes. Some of my favorite milds come to mind:

El Triunfador
Casa Royal
Cabaiguan
Old Henry Gold label

Can you tell I like Pepin? Cool thing about smaller smokes like coronas or smaller, is that they tend to not pack as much of a punch due to the amount of tobacco. CAO Gold is one of my icebreaker favorites. Haven't had one in ages.

Could check these out...I've heard about them but never smoked one. I used to have a Villiger 1888 but I gave it to someone instead of smoking it.

Using the "short, mild & cheap" selection criteria, I would recommend

Macanudo Gold Label or Cafe
Helix Remix (note: infused)
Hoyo Excalibur (either the cigarillos that are listed, or the #5s)

AF Short Story - or the AF work of art if you're looking for something just a little bit longer.

I can't find it now, but I believe Famous had a sale on short corona sticks, it was a sampler for $30
