This show, has to be one the best shows ever put out by HBO. After they ended The Sopranos the way the did. They need this show to get most of viewers they lost. IMO... -(P

Last I heard was that everyone has different projects going on. Which in Hollywood terminology means, they cant agree on a suitable price. which in turn meaning, pushing & making the movie for well over budget before it even begins. So we the fans are left in limbo...

Agreed, season 6 of Sopranos was unwatchable. I finished half of it before saying why the hell am I watching this crap and turned it off.

IMHO The Wire is the best TV show ever.

Boardwalk Empire has some serious potential though. Hopefully they don't f*ck it up.

My company does some work for HBO and I've seen a ton of flyers, posters and the like for season 2 for some time now. Can't wait for the start. This along with GoT are the only reason I keep HBO around.

Cant wait for season 2. This show took Sopranos place IMO.

I disagre what someone said about Sopranos season 6 sucking, the entire season with Phil getting revenge onhat Tony B. Did was come cold $hit......Now the ending? Ugh a huge slap in the face to the fans...Wouldn't even want to see a movie....It's a sore spot for me.

Anyway bring on Boardwalk Empire Season 2.

Yeah, great episode. Don't know what muscle/how Nucky's gonna get the traitors. Good to see Margaret step up as well.

Show always impresses me how they tie in the contemporary historical events of the era, pretty good job tying in the Celtic-Anglo conflict of the WWI era despite some oversimplification of the Irish Free State

What did y'all think of last week's episode gentlemen?

Things seem to be heating up. No Chalky White though?!

I certainly did feel a big drop off but was compelled to try and power through it. Because so many people say "Sopranos is the best show ever".

Season 6 hit my limit, 3-5 were OKAY but 6 was literally the biggest piece of $hit I've seen on TV in a long while.

Gotta say, I didn't see that whole angle coming. Or maybe a better way of saying it is that I didn't WANT to see that angle coming. She is definitely off the deep end. +1. Boardwalk Empire had a ton of action unlike SoA. Hell, 10 seconds into the episode Jimmy/Harrow were killing the clan dudes :gn :gn

I liked when Nucky asked Eli "Isn't it a little early?" "I'm RoR which means I make the rules, HEY if you tear those pants, there will be hell to pay"

Glad he took time out from killing and election rigging to drink and yell at his kids.

I didn't see the ending coming the way it went down. Even when Nucky pulled the gun on Jimmy, I thought that he would end up shooting Eli.

I didn't think Nucky would have the guts to shoot him. I thought Eli or Owen Slater would have to do it.

I think that was the point, Nucky has embraced his mobster identity. Fitting too since it was Jimmy who told Nucky in Season 1 "you can't be half a gangster anymore, Nuck." :banger

Really surprised Jimmy was taken out. Can't wait to see Nucky's reaction when he finds out that Margaret signed over the property to the church :sl

Yeah, he isn't going to be happy. He really can't kill her though because that won't get his land back.

Me too! The truth is even though Eli pushed for it, it all went down under Jimmy's watch.

Great ending! It should be interesting to see how things unfold next season. I am mostly curious to see where Richard ends up considering his loyalty.

Shouldn't be hard hard to keep track, most of the good characters are Dead or irrelevant now.

So anyone think Jimmy's mom will seduce Richard now?

I don't think so. This does raise an interesting question. Without Jimmy or the Commodore, will Jimmy's mom or Richard be part of the show?

I could see Richard trying to gain a measure of revenge. Who would he work for? I don't think he could handle Capone's smart a$$ attitude.

I guess Jimmy's mom could get some air time if they continue the relationship with Luciano. Otherwise, will she try to get revenge?

get back to being a dirty little girl. ;)
