Has ruined my life. All I do is check and double check it all day, place bids and get pissed when come back from lunch or wake up only to find I have been outbid.

I need them to block the site at work so A) I can do some work and B) I can save some money!!!

Admitting you have a problem is the first step.
I had to delete it off of my cell phone, my neighbor had to delete his account.

Another sad story from a fallen brother! Hang in there, Adam. You can change! Most of the old timers here have!! It only took me a year or two to kick the habit!!

I actually failed to pay my mortgage bill because my account was overdrawn because I dropped a few hundred on "The Devil Site", that was a quick realization!
Now when I get an e-mail from them I don't even open it, I just hit delete and tell myself it wasn't a good deal (Even though inside I know it was something I needed to have).

Man you know the worst thing about it is that they set you up to nickel and dime yourself. Oh just a $30 order here $50 order there maybe a $200 order over there then all of a sudden you spent way too much and way too fast. Wait a minute that makes it sound like it is my fault? :jd:r

Order landing today actually. :noon

I've been on the Devil Site for less than 24 hours. So far...

I won:
Oliva Serie 'G' Maduro Torpedo - 5-Pack $19

I lost:
Camacho Triple Maduro 11/18 (Single) $8.00(current bid) $6.00 (my bid)

We'll see:
Time Left Lot Qty Cur. Bid
3d 7h Perdomo Habano Toro Connecticut (20) 1/1 $1.00
2d 7h Perdomo Reserve Oscuro Limited 'C' (Single) 1/1 $3.00
2d 7h Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Principe Maduro (Single) 1/1 $7.00
7h 53m Oliva Serie 'O' Maduro Torpedo (Single) 1/1 $5.00
6h 34m Cusano 18 'Paired' Maduro Robusto - 5-Pack 1/1 $13.00

At least I've avoided all use of the auto-bid feature.

I hope I win 20 Perdomos for $1 :D

Haha good luck Greg! I have actually seen some slip through the cracks and win for stupid low prices. It doesn't happen often but it does happen. Maybe you will get lucky. :tu

I got carried away this evening after I found the auction site last night(thanks guys!), and I over bid on a box of Romeo y Julieta habana reserve robustos and got stuck with them. Oh well, I'll pay more attention next time.

And this is very easy to do if you don't really know the cost of what you are bidding on. Seen this all too often.

Smart move....I find it's kinda nice to have a house to keep my cigars in.....

Sometimes they inflate that retail price a bit to make you think you're getting a good deal. Case in point was some champagne torpedos I wanted to bid on and they were 'retailed' at about .50 more per stick than I could get them for at my B&M, plus I get my locker member discount so if some yahoo bids them up to $5.95, no deal in that.
