A prune is a vegetable . . . no, a prune is not a vegetable. Cabbage is a vegetable . . . makes it O.K.

Cucumbers are those things that grow in the garden. When they are pickled in jars, they become pickles. They are not pickles until such time as they are pickled.

You have no idea how happy I am that "you got it."

If you didn't have to Google it, I love you.

Well, actually peanuts are a legume, not a bean. A bean is a legume too, but it's not a peanut nor a pea, which is also a legume. All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares. And when it comes to the English language, I am definitely a square. :D

Almond is not a nut either. I think it's called a pome or something. Not going to wiki it right now.

The almond is a pit nut like a cashew, apricot pit or peach seed pit.

Watermelons are vegetables along with honeydews, cantaloupes, musk melons and are distantly related to cucumbers though a watermelon will not cross with a cucumber. But a cantaloupe will.

There are just some things even a watermelon won't do.

Intelligence is knowing a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put one in a fruit salad.
