To those that perished today especially, but for all those that gave their lives for our freedom.

Too many people today do not truly understand the price of freedom.

May God bless these grieving families with peace and comfort.

We don't appreciate enough the sacrifices made for all of us.
Thank you to all who serve.

Seal team six gave us one of the most truly proud and joyous moments this year and in the scope of american history as well. The loss of these men cannot be truly measured. 25 families are getting the news of their loved ones fate and as sad a day it is for us the sense of loss and grief they feel is overwhelming and paralysing. Pray for and tend to their families as that's what they would have wanted, to know that their families were safe and taken care of. I can say things like "I will never forget" but the truth is I cannot forget, even if I tried. God Bless Those men and the Afgan soldiers who died next to them...

Very sad. They are in my prayers. I heard non were the actual ones in the raid on Osama but that doesn't change a thing. American lives were lost and today is truly a sad day.

"Dear Lord
Lest I continue
My complacent way
Help me to remember
Somewhere out there
A man died for me today
- As long as there be war
I then must
Ask and answer
Am I worth dying for?"

Prayer carried by Eleanor Roosevelt given to her from Sir William Stephenson

The families of those who lost loved ones are in my prayers.

And all those who serve are in my prayers.

Thanks to those who have fought to give me the freedom to do my job without fear.

Peace of the Lord be with you.

The words for those who don;t know.

Eternal Father, strong to save,
Whose arm hath bound the restless wave,
Who biddest the mighty ocean deep
Its own appointed limits keep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!

O Christ! Whose voice the waters heard
And hushed their raging at Thy Word,
Who walked on the foaming deep,
And calm amidst its rage didst sleep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!

Most Holy Spirit! Who didst brood
Upon the chaos dark and rude,
And bid its angry tumult cease,
And give, for wild confusion, peace;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!

O Trinity of love and power!
Our family shield in danger’s hour;
From rock and tempest, fire and foe,
Protect us wheresoever we go;
Thus evermore shall rise to Thee
Glad hymns of praise from land and sea.

This is truly tragic, the sacrifices our soldiers make for us everyday will never be repaid and they deserve so much more than we can ever give them. It pains me deep inside everytime we lose more of our soldiers, they are truly some of the best.
