So, I've been a casual cigar smoker for several years now. I enjoy them, but the wife doesn't. She said she enjoys the smell of pipes though.

Being the happily married guy that I am, I decided to look into pipe smoking. I looked around at ebay and other online merchants and was overwhelmed.

After a couple hours checking out the new guy FAQ here, I went and picked up the following:

So, now off to give it a go. I look forward to shooting the breeze with you all.

Welcome brother. Nice decision on the MM corncobs to start off with. In fact, Prince Albert in a Missouri Meerschaum corncob is still one of my favorite smokes to date. You should look at this thread and see about joining the trade.

The rules are on the page I linked but all you have to do is order a tin, or buy one, and send it to the experienced pipe smoker (their choice on what blend) and they will send you a sampling of different pipe tobaccos in return. You should really check it out if you decide you enjoy smoking what you have. :tu

Well, I had a smoke of the Prince Albert yesterday. Smoked well, was quite enjoyable. I am going to try the vanilla blend tonight.
