I walked about 2.5 miles on the golf course in 80+ degree weather, humidity, and in pants! :c

Last night spent another 2-hours installing carpet and I was sweating like I just ran a super fast 5k! I'm sure that's gotta burn calories.

And what did you do today for exercise?

Just took a morning bike ride. going ot hopefully do this everyday and start my day right!

Warm up, stretch, 40 minutes of full body circuit training, cool down. Last couple work outs before a week long beach vacation, so just topping off the muscle tone :ze

My 4+ mile walk at work in full protective equipment (helmet, gloves, safety glasses, welding sleeves, steel toed boots). LOTS of sweating involved.

Also - dodging the food that was brought in. There's 2 cakes, a bunch of cookies, apples...with caramel sauce, and doughnuts. My coworkers are evil :(

Sounds...uhm..fun?

Warm up, stretch, 40 minutes of full body circuit training, cool down. Last couple work outs before a week long beach vacation, so just topping off the muscle tone :ze

I woke up today and did some Plank stands? IDK...I needed to work on the core a bit. Got Yoga tomorrow in the AM and then maybe some more next week. Just bought a groupon for 1 month of Yoga for $30..:tu

Cleaned the garage, building some shelves, and just staying busy. I just work my ass off every waking hour, it seems to do the trick. :D
The boss ran four miles this morning. I don't know if she went to the gym yet or not.

I'm contemplating working on the carpet some more tonight but the house is old so no Central AC, just window AC and feels like 100 today..

That'll burn some calories :r

In addition to doing nothing yesterday, I also watched my wife and stepdaughter go for a walk. Already today I'm watching my woman go to the gym, so I've got a real good start. :D
I bet I sweated off 10 pounds yesterday in the garage, and I'm going back for more today. I'd like to get the back wall shelves in. That'll burn some calories. :D

on top of 330min of sweating while carpeting the house yesterday, I played golf today...didnt walk but playing in 85+ degree weather, I was sweating and hydrating tons.

Walked 2 miles on the beach yesterday, probably do nothing today. Enjoying my week off from exercise, might get physical with the wife later. That'll burn some calories.

Last night:

13 miles @ 4 on the Airdyne - 43 minutes
1 mile arms only 1/2 pull 1/2 push - 5 minutes
1 mile @ 3 (cooldown) - 4 minutes

100 push-ups
150 crunches - 50 center, 50 left 50 right

Swam for 1/2 hour

50 12 lb hand weight curls
50 12 lb hand weight presses

30 leg lifts

That is my normal routine plus the swimming.

This morning: (First time for this trying a twice a day to get to the end goal of 195)

13 miles @ 4 on the Airdyne - 43 minutes
1 mile arms only 1/2 pull 1/2 push - 5 minutes
1 mile @ 3 (cooldown) - 4 minutes

150 push-ups
150 crunches - 50 center, 50 left 50 right

Tonight: Plan on the normal routine and some swimming. Hope to hit 198 on the scale when the evening is done.

Since I'm not going to see you at Shack this year sir I'll be in for a huge shock next time we meet!


Golfed yesterday very very early with a friend and whatever I sweated out of my system was put back in at lunch.

Hit the range this afternoon and had to change my shirt when I got back to work.

Thinking about playing another 9 today since it's nice and warm. Should be able to build up a good sweat walking.

I read about 10 pages of Finnegan's Wake while sitting on a bench with a cigar. That was productive for my spiritual health and intellectual fitness, so this ain't no damn hijack. :r

Chest and back in my gym with broken A/C. My workout clothes weighed about 10 pounds when I was done I sweat so much.

Ran my first ever 5k. 37:42. Lots of off and on after the first mile.

Furthest I've ever ran, prior to this, was 2.5mi in 30 min. doing intervals.

I plan on taking car of my wife tonight, too. I hope she just lets me lay there. ;)

I must have walked about 2.5 miles this AM on the course. It was an awesome 70's at 630am but right when it hit 7ish it got into the 80's and muggy.:mad:

How do you like doing hot yoga? I'm liking the few yoga moves in the workout routine I'm on right now. Been thinking of taking some yoga classes now.

I like that my 715am class saturday's has women my age. I do not like sweating out buckets though...

Same as usual today, bike commute. Yesterday dug a 35x2 foot trench, built new gas lines, installed and buried it all. Then laid a 4ftx4ftx6in slab of concrete, mixed with a shovel in a wheel barrow. My back hurts!

In the office by 0700, hit the morning brief at 0830, lunch between 1100-1200, out the door by 1530, in the water for an afternoon dive by 1700 (depending on tides), dinner, Cigar, sleep, repeat.

That is a typical weekday weather pending.

Looked at a church for an appraisal. Then met a fella I've done several appraisals for, and gave him two boxes of cigars. Then I stopped by my brother's house for a couple hours. Then back home, and did gardening work for a couple of hours. Maybe not real physical, but digging up sweet potatoes does work up a solid sweat!

90min of hot yoga kicked my butt last night. Actually felt nauseous 70min into it and had to step out for cold water. Thinking warm Gatorade didn't help the situation .

Pushups in the am about 40 oh and walked about 3miles on the course yesterday. Would been shorter if I could stay in the fairway. :c

Worked in the morning then spent 6 hours in my garage. Installed my cv joints, exhaust hooked up the clutch, oil lines and throttle.

finally decided to go back to the gym. Did the plyometrics workout from P90X. Damn near killed me. Going to do the core synergistics workout tomorrow. Might tie in a morning bike ride or run at the beach as well.

woke up and rolled outta bed right into pushups. Did pyramids starting from 10 down...I gotta admit I struggled a bit on the #2 & #3.

I need to get some cardio back into the routine.

Ran 4.5+ miles last night, trying to get back into the routine again. I hope I can get back into the groove of things. Was hoping to follow up again tonight but ankle is sore as hell right now. Woke up this morning and couldn't put any weight on it, I fell back into bed. Took 1000mg of Ibuprofen and I can put pressure again, but it still feels a little tender.

This weekend I rode 62 miles and Saturday and 92 miles on Sunday. The Sunday ride included about 6,000 of climbing as well. Definately ready for my century ride on September 3rd.

century ride is nuts, Brian. I spent a day riding from my house to Boston and back with some friends on bikes. 60miles round trip and that was tough but a blast.

Last night, I re-seasoned my humidor (was showing 80 degrees since I got it.....last Sunday!!!!) Smoked, drank a beer, watched Jersey Shore with the wife (she's the fan, but this season looks crazy so I decided to watch it too), then bed.

This mornng, checked the humidor and now showing at 70-70 degrees so refilled it, came on CA and posted then to work (only 1/2 day today :noon:noon)

Went to a friends house had a beer and smoke then picked up my wife and stepson, put him in bed then me and the wife watched a movie (Bad Teacher) then she went to bed and I watch That Metal Show and now going to bed.

Tonight I begin a routine again!
Maybe just 45 minutes on the eliptical to start getting back into shape.
I jumped on the scale this weekend and was about 10 pounds over where I thought I was.

Just saw this thread. :)

4.25 miles on the treadmill on the "random incline" in 35 min.

Going to start hitting the program a bit harder. I'm running a 7.75 mile trail race in April, and will be doing at least one half ironman tri again this year. PLus I want to improve my times in a couple other tri's over what I did last year.

7.2 on the treadmill today, the first 6.2 in just under 54 mins. Now to run a real 10k to get an official time.
