They also have other great pics. Check em out.

Sure with IPCPR going down this week more pics will become wide spread. I'm looking forward to these but than again I am a big fan of Sumatra. Now hopefully I can score a dress box again this year.

Yeah that seems to be a theme with a few of Tatuaje's special release stuff. That lacquer smell cannot be good and I would guess that its being absorbed into the smoke. Seems like he's pushing or cutting the production too close and the stuff hasnt had time to cure/flash over.

I thought he only had that problem with the Drac release?

I think someone else said something about the black lanceros. I'll see if I can dig it up

I think it was also said that the M80s had a odd smell from the box.

So far it's only been the Drac release. Rumor is on the Black it's not lacquer but the wood that has a unique smell as it doesn't seem to be cedar lining the entire box. I should have a box arriving tomorrow so I will let you know. Can't speak on the M-80 as I passed on those.:gary

I hope to get another non dress box, but wont actively seek them out. Like last year if I'm meant to get them I'll stumble accross them

Not to be a pisser, but isn't that the same Frank box with a slight variation?

It appears to have become their standard box with some changes for each year. I don't mind, it looks cool

Love the shape, press but I believe these are 54RG(not 100% sure on that), but if thats true I wont be seeking. I may try and grab a single but thats about it.
Smaller RG, please!

54rg is not too bad especially when it's a torpedo. I still dig the coffin boxes. I'm also a box collector(well I tend to keep the more unique looking boxes) so I know once they are done the box will be either hung on the wall or on put a shelf in the office.

I've got one to review and I smoked one at the show. I don't want to review it until it's been in the humi a bit because everything you get at the show is dried out. It got shipped to the desert, then put in a plastic display case. Even if your sample is not from the display case, it's from a dry box. You have to wait a few days minimum don't you think? Or am I crazy.

Yep, that is why I have not reviewed mine yet either...
Having said that, there is a review up online already...

Looking forward to this release as I am a Sumatra fan. I'll second the comment concerning smaller ring gauges. I personally don't care for much over a 50.

So, help me out. This will be the 1st Halloween release since I've started smoking.
When these are released, where can I buy some? Are they always sold from the same retailers?
Thanks for the heads up.

If same as last year, non dress boxes, means no coffin just plain box, will be released on the 13th of October. The dress boxes will be released on halloween. List of accounts getting the dress boxes will be released on the 13th as well....
Hope I am remembering this correctly.

Oh man, it's nuts. Last year they posted the list of the 13 retailers on the tatuaje site. Usually you have to call and get on a list pretty quickly and if they have their S together you may get a call back to be able to buy them. After that the smaller boxes go to the other retailers. After chasing a box last year and smoking one of the cigars it was not worth it for me. I think the best way is through some brotherly love or a box split. Although it seems like enough had been released to find some shortly after all the madness. :2
