I got to around thirty questions and it jumped back to question #3??
I closed it and tried again and the first question is blank....

It appears as thought the secret to stumping him is not knowing enough about the character. Every question in theory should be a yes or no.

It knew Chief Brody from Jaws, but did not know Walter Mitty. It got way lost on John Furie Zacharias from Imajica by Clive Barker.
Neat idea but it's pretty limited in scope.

Pretty random in the questions. In spite of telling it that the person was male and African and never ruled a country, many questions about Asians, Russians, emperors, kings and the like.
Never figure out Joseph Cinqué

What makes this able to be impressive is that apparently most people think of the same small (relatively) set of characters. As long as you think of the same character as many other people do, it will be able to guess quickly.
It couldn't get Max from Pi the Movie...
