A short review...

Gran Habano 3 Siglos - This is my 4th one now and I have yet to be impressed. Im a huge fan of the #5 corojo but this one seem to lack flavor and is consistently bland. It had some slight burnt coffee notes and a faint touch of leather. The smoke for some reason felt light and dry. I also found the aroma to be unappealing.

On a lighter note construction and burn were top notch. For now ill just stick with the #5.

Hmmm.... Interesting review.

While I'm a big fan of both the 3 Siglos and the #5 Corojo, I like the prices that can be had on Cbid for the #5s.

For almost a year, the 3 Siglos was my favorite 'no one knows about this cigar' cigar, which means that I could get it for a song and dance. Then along comes Cigar Aficionado with their top 25 rating... :fl

It's been a solid two months since I've had a 3 Siglos, but only a week since a #5. Your review is excellent because it's convinced me to pick one up again.

If you like the #5s look at teh #5 Fumas on cbid. About $1 to $1.20 for a box. Great yard gar. Not quite as smooth as the #5 but close enough you know your smoking a close cousin.

I'd smoke the entire bundle if they costs $1 for all 25!!! :ss

The fumas for #5 and 3 Siglos are the very definition of yard gar, and worth the price if they're a fraction of a dollar. Not smooth, and they're gonna go out on you several times.

Beats the snot out of mowing the lawn with a bundled Party Culebra. :2

I enjoyed these for yard gars. The construction and burn however are spot on. Flavor isn't extremely impressive

Actually mine have been burning as good as the real deal. Not rough - just not quite up to the $6 version - which is ok. I paid a $1 for it.

I can't even stomach them as a yard gar. I have tried three total, thinking that maybe I just 'got a bad one', but sadly all three were bland.

I like the #5, too. I've got a fiver of these resting in my humi; looking forward to trying them.

Thanks for the review.
