Would totally be cool, but with the current political situation I wouldn't. You can bet on the schipp tax bill coming back with no one to veto it.

Yep, heard a report that SCHIPP is a top item on their priority list.

I tried to convince my parents to let me take out a loan, they wouldn't budge. That would be a nice hour commute to work every day.

Although a membership smoke shop... now there's an idea. Kinda like the Costco thing where you pay a membership fee and the cigar shop doesn't hike the cost of the cigars up.

There are no Real B&Ms around here (just glorified booths that sell lottery tickets and cigarettes, and a couple of sticks that they don't know how to take care of).

The economy is still pretty good here, so I would like to open a better cigar/tobacco shop, and maybe even combine it with some higher end spirits.

Maybe in a couple of years.

I would love to open a real cigar and pipe shop here since there's nothing even remotely worthwhile between Portland and Victoria but the draconian smoking laws and insane taxes would make any such attempt fiscal suicide. Washington is not a small business friendly state even under the best conditions.
