My wife is spending the week at the beach while my daughter attends SEA Camp. Because I love my wife, I decided to rent a car that would be more reliable than our aging SUV that she normally drives the 1 to 5 miles a day that she has to drive.

So, did I get her a reasonable ride...NO. I got her a Challenger.

Holy-o Andretti Lives!!! Please pray for my insurance!

Seriously, she deserves to have the fun. After all of her medical issues the past couple of years, this is her first real vacation in several years.

I am just thinking I probably shouldn't have shown her how to powershift or do donuts!

It was impressive merging onto the expressway earlier when she let me take it for a spin (that is, when I snuck out while she wasn;t looking...:D).

2nd gear, 6500 rpm, 80mph on the on ramp. That may not impress everyone, by considering that I drive a 10,000lb, V10 truck...I liked it! I was even able to pass a couple of gas stations, not something easily done in my truck!

IMO The Challenger is one of the best in terms of great retro styling! Glad to hear it has reasonable performance to go with the looks!!

Sweet ride! I test drove one in April and freaking loved it! But I'll stick with my charger for now.

Come on steve.......We can see whats going on here. You rented that car so she would say no to driving it, and knowing it's already being rented would give you the ok to drive it.
