Some of you know my friend Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy on Wednesday. During the process she lost all of her hair and now wears a wig. I decided to cut my hair and donate it to Locks of Love. They make wigs for kids suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

Here is Sharon and I.

Getting ready to make the cut.

One cut down one to go.

The finished product. There is a strip on pink on the side for Sharon.

That is a great gesture Kristin!! That is true friendship! Several years ago I shaved my head to support a friend going thru chemo. I found out I have one ugly shaped head.

It doesn't matter the shape of your head but what you did with the hair. ;)

May I echo all the kudos of those who proceeded me here, and also compliment your new summer look. I wish I had 11 inches to lose. :tu

Uh, wait a minute . . . lemme rephrase that. I wish I had that much to donate.
