I just did something that has made bold my Yahoo mail messages, and even the "read" messages are still bold, making it impossible to quickly see which are unread. Some web pages are also all in bold! Very annoying! I've tried playing with fonts, etc, but have been unable to fix this. I imagine it's something easy, but google has not helped me. Any ideas?

Can't help with that, but I have the same problem here now.
Previously read threads stay bold.

I get that from time to time, but it usually corrects within a log in or two.

Maybe try a different browser? I dunno, I never "log in" to yahoo and have never had that problem.

This would imply that you should clear your browser cache completely, close the browser (reboot optional) and then try again. Could be what is known as a stuck cache entry.

What browser are you using?

IE9. I just went ahead and forced my web pages to use certain fonts i/o those the webpage would use. Aparently I lost some fonts somewhere, and it seems you have to pay to re-download them! Nope, I'll just live w/o 'em and get used to this new look from my computer.

In ie9 thry this:
. [Tools>Internet Options>General Tab>Fonts]
There's also this:
a. Open Internet Explorer
b. Click the gear in the top right > Click ‘Internet Options’
c. Click ‘Fonts’ > Select the font that you wish to see on web data > Select OK
d. Click the ‘Accessibility’ tab > Ensure both the Ignore font sizes and styles boxes are checked > Click OK

Check the link out below. It sounds just like the issue you are having. You should still have all of your fonts in C:\Windows\Fonts. You can re-install them from that directory.
Fonts in Internet Explorer are italicized (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ieitpropriorver/thread/75a1fe0f-4c00-4f20-b602-984f187aeb45)
In an effort to maximize security, you may have turned your cookies screening up to too high
a level, although that would not account for them staying bold in the same browser session,
only when you came BACK.
