There is a Kristoff event this weekend at my local B&M shop with Glen Case the president. Just curious if people have had these before and what they thought.

I wouldn't classify myself as a fan at this point but here's my :2.

I bought a "Kriven" sampler they had on sale from Famous Smoke, it had 4 Kristoff's and 2 Vengeance cigars. I really enjoyed all 4 of the Kristoff cigars that they sent to me. I pulled this from FS website on the description for the Kristoff's:

1 Kristoff Criollo Robusto Natural (5 1/2 x 54)
1 Kristoff Ligero Robusto Maduro (5 1/2 x 54)
1 Kristoff Ligero Robusto Natural (5 1/2 x 54)
1 Kristoff Robusto Maduro (5 1/2 x 54)

I think I enjoyed the Ligero Maduro the most and I can say that I each blend was great to try and found all enjoyable.
I would really like to try the Sumatra's one of these days.

Have a great time at the event!! :tu
I hope that you find a couple of them that you can enjoy!!

I really liked them for a while. The last box of maduros I got was not the best representation of them. I am hoping it was just a bad box. The sumatra was not bad either.

I thoroughly enjoy the maduro, ligero maduro, and the sumatra. Of course, considering Ranger B's comment, all the sticks I own came from at least 8 months ago. So, they were older blends - if that is truly an issue.

Also love the Maduro Ligero. The Criollo isn't bad either.

i think they have, in general, good flavors but are not very complex over the course of the cigar. i like to smoke them with friends around a fire where i dont feel bad if i dont pay attention to the flavor 100% of the time.

Another for the Ligero Maduro, the other maduro didn't do much for me however.

Oh man, I tried a ligero maduro about two years ago, got about an inch in and had to ditch it. Horrible draw, horrible flavor on what you could get. Haven't gone back. Though we are having an event here next month as well so I guess I'll be giving them at least one more shot.

I haven't had the sumatra but I like all the other kristoffs. The criollo is my favorite kristoff and one of my favorite cigars. Good stuff.

I really like the Maduro and Ligero Maduro, but they all seem to be over packed with tobacco and none have ever had what I consider a perfect draw.

At first my young pallet didn't find the Kristoff past just good however as it grew more I now truly enjoy the complexity I taste in a Kristoff. Wouldn't mind going to a Kristoff event sometime myself.

Im a huge fan of the Sumatrans, and Ligeros, but lately I think the sticks need 6months or so in the humi before they're prime.

The Maduro is good and the Sumatra is off the chain good!!

Me and a buddy sat with Glen at IPCPR in 2010 and had the Sumatra and chatted it up like we were long lost buddies. Great smoke and cool guy.

+1

The last LM I smoked had such a loose draw, that it was impossible to smoke. The two previous were very nice so I guess if there is a complaint, it's their quality control.
