I work at a car dealership as a tech, and a guy came in today saying that a cat was stuck in the fender liner. Generally cleaning it involves a hose, brush, and alot of cussing, but today was a little different. This kitten got down inside the framerail through a 3"x3" opening and managed to wedge itself towards the front of the car about a foot behind the headlight.
After an hour of gentle prods with a flexible brush, and and almost moment when we saw his head, we ended up getting the little guy out safe and sound. A little bit of compressed air down the frame rail backed him up enough to grab him out. The kitten was a longhair, about 2 months old. I'm not one for mushy stuff but the cat was actually really cute.

After we got it out, we all gathered around to take pictures and play with it. I will say you have never seen so many grown ass men oohing and ahhing over anything in your life. :r

This kitty needs to be taken to the vet for a check-up, shots and (when old enough) "fixing". BTW, it looks like a Siberian.

The guy that brought it in was heading over there right after he left. He was on the phone with them when we got it out since we were unsure about hitting it with compressed air. Only time I've ever used a pressure regulator, unless OSHA asks of course.
I'll take your word for it on the Siberian part. It had the same facial build to my cat (at least I thought so) just with longer hair. I might have you ID my cat since I have no idea what he is.

This is a Siberian kitten:

They are immensely intelligent and produce less allergy inducing protein than most other cats.
