Here it is in the clamps, will be done next week. I am guessing a 300 count, 24" long, 12" at the widest, 9 " at the head, 7" at the foot and 10-11" tall.

It's tiger maple, the lid will have a dark walnut outer edge and tiger maple again for the top of the lid.

Getting closer, most of the lid is finished, needs the tiger maple insert in the top, the outer walnut is done.

Here are some rough pics of the lid, mind you it will be darker once the oil goes on and the grain will show better on the tiger maple and walnut, the skull is black mesquite and eyes and nose are filled with heartwood. I think it's coming along great, can't wait for the oil to go on!!!
