With my recent purchase of a Traeger Smoker/Grill, it seems Aaron (aero95) wanted to share his passion for good barbecue with me. Today, my mailman delivered a copy of Paul Kirk's Championship Barbecue Sauces. The beauty of this book is that it's usefulness goes beyond barbecue. I can see using it in other aspects of my cooking.

As I am putting together this thread, I also realize that I neglected to mention that a short time ago, Aaron also sent me 4 smokes and some TexasBBQRub.
Of course at the moment I don't have pictures. ;s
I can show you the stellar NC Partagas 160 Robusto I enjoyed when I did my inaugural smoke on the Traeger.

Your generosity and advice are truly appreciated, Aaron.

Peter I'm glad you like it! Anytime I can help out I would definitely lend a hand. I would make this post longer but we had a bad storm last night and now my phone is about to die because we have no power :D
Enjoy brother!

Keep us posted on your new grill. I'm in the market for a new one myself and a new smoker.
A buddy I work with just bought a new pellett grill, I think he said it was a green mountian or something like that and he likes it but said he wished it would get hotter??
I'm leaning toward a new weber gas grill and a green egg grill/smoker.

Jerry - I bought a Traeger. The Green Mountain, Big Green Egg, and Weber are all quality units.
