Hey Folks...

Thanks for all the well-wishes and prayers for our area of North Carolina. Been rough cleaning up from the damage in the area.

A good friend of mine - a photographer - took these pictures of downtown Raleigh.

They used some of his photos on WRAL.com - a local TV station.

My daughter's neighborhood was spared, but the one behind her house just a few hundred yards was devastated. Please keep the many families affected in your prayers.

Glad you are ok- tornadoes are so hit and miss! We were lucky in Mooresville- just some rain. Looks like everything got very intense heading east.

Glad your ok. We had tornadoes in between 5-8 miles away in all directions and got real lucky. My fiancées patient who is on a vent full time was fortunate enough to be sick and went to the ER that morning. Probably saved the family's lives their house is gone. Crazy storm.

Hope all our southern bothers and sisters are all right. I just got home from working for 3 days in Bertie county. Saw a lot of families' that didn't have a whole lot to begin with loose everything.

Same here, Hugh. I'm about an hour and a half south of Raleigh and we missed it all. Fayetteville got tore up though. Thoughts and prayers countinued to be sent for all those affected by the tornadoes, hail, and wind.

Glad y'all are ok, Joe.:tu

Volt's the one closest to the path in Gloucester...That Tornado took out his Internet hub for the area when it destroyed the middle school near him.
