What do you guys think of the new dashboard?
I think it's pretty awesome. The avatar thing is eh, OK I guess. I really like the Netflix option and it just seems a lot smoother than the old one.
Discuss.

I think it's awesome. Pre-release for the past two days was flawless. Gunna go boot it up in a few and see how laggy it is now

Just downloaded it, really nice. Seems a lot quicker than the original dashboard.

Anyone tried the Netflix part yet?
I heard that Sony, the day before the release of the Dashboard, put a "temporary" hold on the availability of some Sony owned studio movies. Anyone come across this yet?

I tried out NetFlix. I put on National Lampoons Vegas Vacation for a few minutes. Worked fine, though I don't think it's Sony. :2

I like the NetFlix streaming option a lot but could do without the whole avatar thing.

I like it. I hate the download entire games option. Its pointless. You still have to have the disk in the drive. I know why they require it, but it would be nice to be able to play my games right off the hard drive without having to have the disk in it. Oh well, guess Ill still have to take my disks on vaca with me.

I guess im a creature of habit I like the old one.. and the dl to hd thing is cool I guess... except i have never had any problems with loud disc loading or super slow load times. (especially compared to ps3)

I've loaded up my instant watch queue pretty good (never used it before since I mostly use my mac and Netflix doesn't support them).
I was really thinking of ditching my 360 but this is pretty great.

Yes and yes.
About 250 HD movies if I remember correctly. Free as long as you have a $9.99+ netflix monthly account.

Maybe instead of changing things that do not changing, they should fix the lag in online games. especially Call of Duty 5 :fl

I've gotten 2 disc read errors since the changeover.
If it's related, I'm gonna be pissed. If it's just a coincidence, then I'm still pissed at the shoddy hardware. LOL
Hate this flipping platform. Give me me PS3 anyday.
