Gents,
Ok - I am going to be totally blunt here - I did not like this stick. Im not saying it is a bad cigar; but rather it just isn't what I am personally looking for when I decide to spend an hour and 20mins with a bundle of fermented tobacco. Anyway, on to the review:

Specifics
Vitola: Classic Lancero
Length: 7.5
Ring Gauge: 40
Wrapper: Dominican
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican
Price: $10.25

Looks and Prelight - The cigar is slightly rustic, and has a very faint sweet smell. Feels solid in the hand. I did find a construction defect in the wrapper; pic below.

First Half - Immediately upon lighting, I was hit by real strong pepper in the back of my mouth. Light blue-ish smoke, and the cigar almost gave off no smoke at rest. There wasn't any real discreet flavor (other than the pepper sensation) - it was more like an old tobacco flavor - and not necessarily in a good way. The burn didn't need any touching up, and the ash hangs for about 3/4 of an inch.

Second Half - The cigar really picked up in the smoke creating area; huge gobs of it...Shocking for a stick this size. Unfortunately flavor didn't come along with that increase of smoke. The pepper has gone, and now I just was getting that old tobacco flavor. For the first time in a long time I didn't bother taking it to the nub, as I felt that there just wasn't anything there.

Wrap Up - I haven't had a cigar like this. The closest I can compare it to is a cigar which you decide to relight after an hour...That first kinda skanky draw..That's what this entire stick was like. Even now about an hour after smoking I can't get that flavor out of my mouth.
I hate being negative in a review; but unfortunately the stick didn't give me anything to work with. I thought that perhaps I was making it burn hot (Lanceros aren't a usual vitola for me), so I really took my time through the 2nd half with no change or improvement.
Anyone else try this stick with a totally different result ? I'd be interested to hear.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy. Thanks for sharing. I have not torched an Aurora that I've been fond of yet. :2

I had one that I enjoyed, but didn't buy any more.

I bought a box of these at release. They are oily as all get out and nothing but creamy smoke and flavors. Either it just isn't for you or something is way off. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your cigar.

Ya....I really think something musta been off with this stick. I just looked for other reviews online and they are favorable. Also what I find interesting is people commenting on the creamy white smoke color...As stated mine was a blueish color (which I found interesting).
I wonder what sort of thing could cause this phenomenon ?
