A few days ago Tim completed COT (Commissioned Officers Training) and now is an active duty Pharmacist and Captain in the United States Air Force.

I think it was on the way to O-Club orientation actually


For those wondering, I directly commissioned at a Captain because of my education and specialty (I'm a pharmacist). I'm "medical" rather than a line officer so I don't, ever, command combat troops.

The people at my training (COT) are all medical, legal and clergy. Some of the docs come straight in as Majors, but the vast majority were Lts (mostly O-1s)
