Size: 5.5x42 (chico)

Wrapper: nicaragua corojo 99 cafe
Binder: nicaragua
Filler: nicaragua

Construction: appears well constructed some veins, no soft spots or

Prelight: a barnyard/tobacco taste

First Third: first draw is a little bland, but builds with chocolate, leather and some spice

Draw: good

Burn: little uneven

Ash/Smoke: ash is a little flaky fair amount of smoke

Second Third: more cedar spice has faded, some harshness to the flavor

Final third: still has a cedar and leather flavor, still a little harsh

Strength: medium

Flavor: medium

Overall: this was my first viaje experience, and I was expecting more in the flavor and in the strength, I think my expectations took away from my enjoying this stick and I think my actually feeling about this cigar are better than the score reflects- meaning if I smoked another one of these with a better understanding of what the cigar is, instead of what I think it will be, I would enjoy it more

Scoring

Construction: 8/10

First Third: 13/15

Burn: 8/10
Ash / Smoke: 8/10

Great review, the Oro and Platino are a bit underwhelming if you look at the seasonal smokes but they are both good in their own right. For ~$5 a stick you really cannot complain.
