Same here. Lots of windows popping up. Had to kill IE to stop it.

Just a reminder for everyone.
Any link you post is being offered to everyone here at CA. You should consider the linked content, the linked site's content, security risks and popups that you may have dealt with from your computer and others may not, and what may or may not be work appropriate across a broad spectrum of employers.
Not meaning to single you out, Excel. Just using this as an example to make a more general statement.

I guess I have a pretty good security system then Pete because it didn't cause me any issues.. that said, i barely ever use IE. Is there a certain protocol that should be followed before we post a link Peter?

No. There isn't. Just try and be aware and consider where the links go.

I had no problems on my end, you guys gotta switch over to Opera. It is noted I use zero security and zero virus protection programs....I scanned today after 2 years. Nothing on my pc. Drop the programs, they are useless.

I think keeping a mind to security and tasteful content shouldn't be too difficult. When posting links, if it goes to a site your Grandmother might not approve of, or 8 year old daughter might not understand or pose some questions, or is inappropriate for your boss to see, take the time for a NSFW tag, is what I was thinking. Not popups and viruses. While I personally don't have a problem, it may cause a problem for a brother.
No offense, I hope.
