So I plan on possibly on the sure side of going to the ChicagoLand Pipe show. Said to self last year I wanted to go. Will be going Saturday. If anyone in WI on my way wants to ride in my reliable suburu on the way down there feel free to PM me. IF anyone is going lets meet up have a lil smoke session and maybe meet the ilinois or near there boys at a B &M near there after the 5pm mark.
Show Dates: MAY 14 AND 15, 2011
Show Times: SATURDAY, 10AM TILL 5PM
SUNDAY, 9AM TILL 5PM
Admission: $15.00 (FOR ONE OR BOTH DAYS).

Just went to the hotel site 2 adults for 1 night stay sat would be less than $149 with special rate just incase people wanna get their shwill on sat night. Also it supposedly is 1 hr west of chicago

Did they say what type of arrangements they will make for those who want to fire up a pipe or cigar this year, Corey?

THERE WILL BE A VERY LARGE TENT FOR SMOKING, WITH FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE FROM 1PM WEDNESDAY OF THE SHOW WEEK TO EARLY MONDAY MORNING, NEXT TO THE MEGA CENTER. THERE IS NO SMOKING IN THE MEGA CENTER OR THE PHEASANT RUN RESORT, EXCEPT FOR THE 80+ GUEST SMOKING ROOMS AVAILABLE. REMEMBER, WE HAVE OUR SMOKING TENT.
How many BOTL can you fit in a tent, may have to find someone to go halfy's on a smoking room hehe

I'm about three hours south. I'll have to see if I can get up there. It'd be great to meet some more BOTL.

I've always very much wanted to go to the Chicago Show but money is always the issue.

I'll be there.
If any are considering going, try to make it Friday for the pre show market.
By the time Saturday rolls around, a lot of the rare stuff has already been sold either at the pre-show or during "room surfing" Friday night.
Also, many vendors hold hospitality event in suites Friday night. Chance to chit chat with some of the big dogs in the industry.

I might consider coming to this.. Would be cool to see some of you guys from Chicago and surrounding areas again :) And maybe pick up a new pipe :pi
