Check this out.
Scary what smart phones provide to the bad guys about you.
If you have kids and post their photos online such as on CA or other social sites, you should see this video and follow the steps to prevent it.

Here's the thing...
Shut off geotagging on your phone, and someone else is posting pics of you to Facebook and tagging you. It's impossible to hide these days unless you move to a cave and leave cellphones behind.
The bad guys knew where to look for someone long before geotagging, I promise. As days go by, our anonymity or ability to protect our anonymity shrinks.
I've given a lot of thought to this over the past few years, whether it be good or bad. I really have no idea which it is. When it all boils down, it's pretty much just the same as in the old days. My family is protected by God's Grace and Smith & Wesson. That still works. :tu

Here are instructions for disabling geotagging in smart phones (http://icanstalku.com/how.php). You can also clean metadata (http://www.digitalconfidence.com/downloads.html) to get rid of GPS info in pics.
