After considering our budget and reading all the reviews we found the Vizio M550NV. It's got the LED we wanted and it's 120Hz. Paid $1300 for it. Didn't think it was a bad buy. Vizio seems to have improved a bit, but what do you all think?

It's big!

I have a vizio 37" for the man cave, been happy with it so far. We have a Panasonic 55" for the living room, its older, and plasma.

I dig the new LEDs, when that plasma goes, we'd look at something like what you just bought to replace it.

I have a Vizio 32" 60hz (1 year old) in my bedroom and a 42" 120hz (just got it in Dec) in my office. The 120hz has an amazing picture! You'll be really happy with them. Great price and great quality.

Did I mention my roommate has a Vizio 32" 60hz as well (3 yrs old)? He's been pretty happy with it too!

We got an E370VL a while back when our ancient Zenith console died. It's 60Hz, but we've been happy with it.
I think the Vizio TVs have gotten a lot better since they first hit the market.
Is this your first HDTV?

Erick,
They are very well rated on Consumer Reports from what I recall.
They are not shabby at all.
Great value for the money.

Well I've connected it to the DSL already and have had Pandora blasting. I need a good speaker system though. :(

I bought one of these $89.00 sound bars. Nothing fancy or high end but a improvement over the TV speakers.

I'm no audio geek. We just hooked ours up to the stereo. It's nice when watching a movie or if we have a few people playing the Wii.
One feature I like on the Vizios is the variable audio output. You can set your sound system to a comfortable level and then adjust with the TV remote.

I got the Vizio 47" Back-Lit LCD a few months back when CostCo had it at $200 off.
I LOVE it!!!! Probably the best picture I have ever seen on any large flat screen. The sound is actuall pretty good too but I picked up a Pioneer 770w 7.1 a/v receiver for it to replace my 20 year old equipment. The tax refund will help me get the Klipsch 700w 5.1 Suround system and I will be in heaven. :noon

We have a Vizio Gallevia 47" that must be 5-6 years old now. It's survived a 300 mile move, and is now hanging on the wall in my wife's den. Never had a problem with it! :tu
