I have 'Jordan' windows, and the guides are broken in most. They seem to have plastic that snaps into the window, and the 'string' goes somewhere in there. Windows are original from when the house was built in the late 80's.
Anyone?
I have repaired hundreds of windows - but have never heard of Jordan windows. Does not mean a lot though since there are hundreds of manufactures out there.
That said Blaine Window Hardware (https://www.blainewindow.com/index.cfm) is where I have bought my supplies for the past 20 years or so. They use to have a store a few miles from me but I haven't been there in a few years. Give them a try even though I don't see Jordan listed in the repair list - they may know.

I'm a Mac user so we don't have that problem. :r
