I don't know if I have a picture of all of my pipes. I can post individuals though but that might crowd up the thread. Here is a picture of my tobacco. Each of the mason jar box contains 12 full jars. I also got lucky and won about 6 ounces from various contests that are in route.

Thanks Charlie. I see you have alot of great tobacco. I am very fond of the different Frog Morton's as well. Very good stuff in my opinion.

As far as my tobacco goes, I can't say that I am wealthy enough to purchase this much. Most of it was either won from contests, free from Altadis (they had a thing where you sign up and get a free tin sent to you and I registered three separate addresses haha), box passes, or given to me by friends. The largest portion of it though came from a brother over on pipe chat that sent me 3 pounds of pipe tobacco and he also included a Peterson Donegal Rocky. Here is a picture of what he sent me. I am truly amazed at how generous people can be.

This reminds me I need to get back into the bombing spirit :D.

I like the meer!
Is that a amber stem or does it just look like it?
The paneled pipe in the bottom right corner looks like the jobey that Is in the bottom right of my laptop in my big pic.

It is block meerschaum with an amber stem. I got it for $20 shipped from a fellow piper over on Pipe Chat. Its not in perfect shape, which is good because I don't worry about little scuffs and whatnot, and for that price I can't complain. I really like how it smokes but I mainly only smoke Stanwell Melange in it.

Wow, that was a steal for that price. With that being real amber it is very old.
Does it also have the bone tenon?

I really like your pipes. Are those at the top Savinelli or Stanwell? I can't really tell from the picture. Regardless, you have some very nice looking pipes.

The one on the top left is the stanwell silver spigot that I also posted later.
The one on the top right is a Rattrays Bog Oak (Morta).

Just like this lighter, I have bartered and traded up to get nice pipes and baccy.

No it has a metal one. I wish it had a bone one as those are really neat. I was told it was real amber but I don't know how to verify because of the metal tenon. Some of the tests I have read about are putting it in salt water, true amber floats, burning it, true amber drops like incense but this is a pipe stem so I won't be doing that haha, and wiping a solvent on it, true amber does not dissolve when in contact with most solvents, again this is a pipe stem so I don't want to harm it. If you know of any other way to tell I am all ears.

When I told the lady that I actually have both of those rifles she said ,just take them.
Plus, she actually thought that 40 bucks was too high for the Dunhill lighter.
She even made the statement that for 40 bucks she could get like 38 lighters from a gas station.

Lol don't the lighters go for $50-$200 on ebay depending on condition? That is cool about the field manuals. I have found some of them online but it is cooler to have the original by far. Plus I like holding something in my hand and you can take it with you when you shoot if you wanted to.

Nice collection MJ!
How well do the paronellis smoke?

I've only smoked it once, and it was very windy so not a very good trial run. I hear for as cheap as they are, they smoek fairly well. The draft hole is a little off, but I haven't noticed problems yet.

John, believe it or not, it's a Brebbia. I got it b/c I'd never seen another like it - plus, I'd always wanted a volcano. It was a "win-win," in corporate-speak ;)

Only thing that's a bit bothersome about it is the stem is a little looser fitting than I'd prefer. Anyone have easy solutions for such things?

cp478

You can heat the tenon and mash it a bit to make it fit. But it is very easy to screw it up. Study up on it first, or take it to a professional in repairs.

Tyler

Spencer, you might try asking Frank Romeo about the pipe makers in the pipe club over there. I know there are atleast two or three and I am sure they could help you out. I don't know what the charge would be though but I don't think it would be much.

I would send it to a professional.
If it was cheap or i didnt care about it i would do it myself.
Its obviously not cheap and you obviously care about it.

You need to hook me up at walmart! Or atleast tell me where you buy your amazing pipes at. I wish I could find/afford some of those pipes as they are amazing looking. When I started out I was just collecting in mass numbers, you definitely go for quality. Very nice collection!

Side note, I found some more of my pipes I am going to restore soon so I will upload a group picture sometime this week (maybe tonight after I knock some work out).
