Submitted an offer on a house 2.0

The first house we submitted an offer on did not work out, so the wife and I went house hunting on Saturday, and found a house we loved.

We submitted the offer today, and hope to hear back by tomorrow. This is a little less stressful this time around, but we still don't want to have to start back from square one again.

Here's a pic for anyone interested. The wife already picked out my smoking room, so that's a plus. We will have to give that huge bush in the front a Brazilian and rip that **** out.

Man, we started looking at houses back in April. Made a offer in May and then more offers. some rejected some sold for more then our offer. But, last Friday we had our offer accepted.... ON THE FIRST HOUSE! Yep, the very first offer we made, in MAY, was finally accepted last Firday 01/07/11. It was a short sale thru BoA. Should close on the 31st.

The wife and I just talked it over and decided to accept the sellers counter offer. It's not quite what we were hoping for, so our thinking is that if there are some issues on the inspection, we will be standing strong on the seller being accommodating.

Looks like we'll officially be in contract tomorrow. I won't lie, I'm excited.

As a person in the real estate business I can say without a doubt . . . there are ALWAYS inspection issues even on new construction homes. It's just a matter of how significant the issues are. Best of luck with your inspection and your purchase! :banger
