thats a lot of technology for a stove
Before I completely dismissed it for quite a number of different reasons, I was curious as to what the BTU ratings and cost would be on this heap of techno trash. Problem is, it doesn't seem to exist. Supposedly, it's only a concept right now, although there is no company or individual name attached to it. For all I know, it might be a hoax.
If it ever were to become real, I'm certain that I would still much rather have a Viking or Wolf gas range.
I did find these two images on gizmodo that were kind of funny though:
Tragic accident in early testing...

Doubles as a play surface for board games... (risk? stratego?)

In the event that the "custom signature technology" written under the name "the william" at the end of the video was the name of a company and not a reference to how the cooktop itself uses custom pot/pan sizing (signatures) of the heating elements when in operation, I finished searching on it too. Zip. Nada.
