?? sorry to be a doofus, but how can an information site be so effected?

My guess is lack of sponsors and the site was based on a book, I was surprised to see that most of the information in the book was on the site. Glad I got my copy when I did, still very sad to see.

Does this make my copy of Perelman's Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars 2009 a collectors item now? Will trade for sealed box of Padron 1926 Maduros No.2 or No.9, a backpack leaf blower (Echo or Stihl only), or drivetrain parts for a '76 Jeep CJ.

Ok, seriously, sorry to see it happen, it was a great source of up to the day information. Now, well, it's still there, but just an archive.

Depends, is it an "O.R"?

crud -- I didn't use the site much, but it's comparison shopper feature was a decent tool

In all seriousness, there's really about 5 sites that you need to have in your back pocket at all times when you're searching for anything, whether it's NC or CC if you're looking for the best pricing/service.

That very same thought crossed my mind when I read that part of the announcement too.

And I wouldn't put it past Craputo to actually do it. *sigh*

If it revives cigarcyclopedia after it already died then I say go for it. Let it happen, then decide.

Any chance you could share the NC sites with me? I'd appreciate it, either here on the forum or by PM. Thanks Duane! (I thought I knew all the good sites, but your reply makes me think I'm wrong.:))
