Had a BOTL shoot me a PM about this stick...and now curious as hell about getting my hands on 2 to try. Anyone have any "leads" on this stick??

Only information I can find on this stick is this...

"Introduced in 2000, CAO eXtreme blend is a full-bodied powerhouse. The final and ultimate completion of the CAO L'Anniversaire trilogy. Only the finest fifth priming Ecuadorian Sumatra Seed wrapper is handed for this cigar. This powerhouse contains five different Cuban seed Nicaraguan tobaccos featuring two different types of Ligero in the filler. The eXtreme is a full bodied cigar for those experienced smokers with a well developed palate.

Handmade in: Nicaragua
Size: 6
Strength: Medium to Full
Color: Medium Brown
Shape: Parejo Box-Pressed"

I saw them at a tobacco outlet in my town a couple years ago. Don't think they are still there. I think I smoked one, but I don't remember it that well.

Hmm you'd figure if they were introduced in 2000 someone would have written a review.

This was one of my first "favorite" sticks, Mac. I went crazy for them. At one time they were plentiful on cbid, and I had boxes and boxes of them. As my palette evolved, I no longer sought that punched in the mouth "blam" that the eXtreme delivered, and I sold off all my boxes. But boy, I remember those things packing a wallop. I kinda remember it being similar to the EO 601 Oscuro.

You might want to check cbid - I haven't been on in a long time but I remember somehow being able to access historical data. That would at least let you know if boxes have come up recently.

Good luck finding these!

There may be a few still around!

This was by far my favorite CAO!

Please PM me if you get a good lead!

The last time I bought these it was from JRs!

Never heard of them, but it is a CAO stick so I could have lived a happy life without knowing about them anyway.

The manager of my local B&M has a few of these in the back. They are pretty tasty with age on them. They are not very strong, I think they mellowed out with age, but they are still tasty nonetheless :)
