well, it's finally happened to me, i think. i've heard a number of you talk about this phenomenon and i kind've always scratched my head considering how something like this could be, but now, here i am... for the past month or so, no cigars are tasting very good to me. just... blah. nothing terribly bad, just sorta bland, tasteless. curious, those of you that have experienced this, how long did it last?

kinda sucks.

It varies. You will go back when the time is right. Just look at the aging your sticks are getting in the mean time. Just dont rush it.

happens to me with food every now and then.... like everyone says, I think it's important to just let it go for a while and not push it... I know I certainly wouldn't waste 30$ on a good steak if I was down on food at the time...

Is it just cigars or food and drink also?

Any new medication illness supplements etc (and no we dont need to hear about those little blue pill stories)

Better pass out your sticks for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc opinions :)

Try smoking a pipe for awhile.

Bummer! Can't recall that ever happening to me. A regular, thorough palate cleansing, including tongue scrapping, might help.

It happens to all of us at some point. Been there a few times in my life. Was thinking about this not too long ago and came to the conclusion that it seems this happens to me more often when my schedule is hectic and I find myself smoking more by myself rather than with some buddies. I find cigars far more enjoyable when smoked among good company rather than when I manage to find a spare couple of hours and squeeze one in, in between the laundry list of things that seem to always need to get done.
