Appearance: 4.5/5

The rich toffee-hued Cameroon wrapper on this beautifully crafted perfecto possesses a light sheen and slight tooth. No prominent veins or seams are present, making the cigar feel satisfyingly smooth in the hand. The Hemingway Signature has a comfortable prelight draw despite the tightly pressed foot.

Construction: 5/5

Like most Fuente cigars, the construction of the Hemingway Signature is spot on. The entire body is evenly packed with only a slight give. From beginning to end this cigar burned astonishingly straight. Setting the cigar on an ashtray for a few minutes does not present a problem.

Flavor: 4/5

A smooth and well balanced mix of cedar, vanilla, nutmeg, and sweet tobacco is immediately noticeable. The short and slightly dry finish consists of leather with a hint of pepper that leaves the palate slightly warm. A subtle aroma of cherry is present in the smoke. This creamy cigar is not overly complex but has a pleasing balance of flavors that never become tiring or monotonous.

Value: 4.5/5

The Arturo Fuente Hemingway’s promising attributes are easily worthy of the moderate price – especially considering how much of a consistent performer it is.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

This beautiful mild-medium bodied cigar is nearly free of flaws with a light and creamy flavor profile that appeals to a wide variety of smokers. Highly recommended to new smokers and seasoned aficionados alike

Very nice review. The Hemingway was my second ever full box purchase many years ago. I really like that blend for a mild-med stick. I have a couple of Short Stories waiting to meet the flame. I need to get some more of the Signatures soon.

Thanks again for the review.

I just smoked my last one at the last herf I went to. I think I gave away more from the box than I smoked, just because I knew it would appeal to almost anyone.
My favorite Fuente.
