Yep, the time is almost here to watch the one movie I've likely seen more of than any other, and I've watched a ton of movies many times. But due to TBS running A Christmas Story for 24 straight hours I catch it four or five times.

Anyone else?

Surprisingly, I've never seen that movie. Christmas preparation today will probably make it so that my streak continues.

This is one of the best movies ever made. I will definitely watch it a time or 2

I only got to watch it once so far. I bet I've seen it a hundred times by now.
It's easily in my top five movies ever. I love it. :)

I watched it about 5 times....
I tried to tell the Misses it was made in the early early 80s.... she didn't believe me and thought it was made in the 40s...
Had to show her online it was made in 1983 to look like the 40s.....

We actually recorded it on the DVR and watched half an hour of it... probably finish during the storm tomorrow!

Great Christmas movie, saw it in pieces today, along with 24 hours of "Scrooged" on AMC.

Apparently there was a sequel made to it . It was a question on a trivia game on-line somewhere the other day , got the answer wrong with false . I just don't know the name of it though . Great movie though . I googled it and found the info that is posted in the next post also .

Interesting... apparently the sequel is called My Summer Story (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Summer_Story) (or It Runs in the Family), which was apparently a flop.
