I found this 5x50 sample at my local B&M. Best part was the box was dated May 2008. These were old as evidenced by the faded band and yellow cello. This cigar lost almost all of it's spice, that we are all used to in the Blue labels. It was a much more refined smoke from start to finish. Very creamy cedar and leather notes with a somewhat lengthy finish. Overall a great cigar if you can find some with age or have the patience to age them yourself! I also picked up some October 2008 DPG JJ Maduro's they had.

this sampler has 08 blues an 08 JJ and 07 JJ +others. I smoked the 07 Unico included in this and it was awesome. Really tasted aged.. if that makes sense.

I just wanted to bump this to thank you Erick for the review. I've been considering aging a box of the DPG blues, but I wasn't sure how long to do it, or even if it would be good. You've convinced me, and I'll be buying a box to store for a couple years.

Thanks!
