Oldest boy when to the Wis. DMV today for his on the road driver's exam - and passed.

Happy? Yeah, proud as can be.

Sad? Yeah! Why, you ask? Because he's getting older. Just another rite of passage leading to him not being my little boy anymore.

Take the time to spend with your children, you only get them for a few years and then they'r gone.

Peace of the Lord be with you.

Rev. Tell your son Congrats!

Cherish your time together. It's all gone way too fast!

My wife said, "Cool, now he can run his own errands."

I said, "True! And he can also take his brother where he needs to go. (He moaned a bit and looked pleadingly at me) And we can just sit home in our rocking chairs and get old."

That got us all laughing.

Congrats to you both, Todd. My wife utilizes our youngest for those "errand runs" quite often. :r :r

Ours are 22 and 19,both still at home.
In this economy,he might not be gone so fast Todd :)

At least the boys are mostly a pleasure to have around, which is nice.

Congrats to your Son.

Congrats to your son! It does go way too fast. Just a few years ago, or so it seems, I was holding our oldest. Now I get to hold her youngest.

Rev, based on your sentiments I'm sure yours is the kind of home your son will always want to be around. As you know teenagers don't always talk about family or home, but those things do mean a lot to them.
